Attend Training and Get Certified: Attend the required free training session and obtain certification to operate the TIGER Mulcher/Chipper.
Request to Borrow: Submit a Request Form to borrow the TIGER Mulcher/Chipper, including the desired borrowing dates.
Check Availability: We check with Nick Want the TIGER Mulcher/Chipper’s availability and confirm whether the requested dates are available.
Confirm Pickup Date: We confirm the pickup date and location with the borrower by call or email.
Check the Equipment Condition: Before borrowing, inspect the TIGER Mulcher/Chipper to ensure that it’s in good condition and working order. Record any pre-existing damage or issues.
Take Possession of the TIGER Mulcher/Chipper: Take possession of the TIGER Mulcher/Chipper on the agreed-upon date at Cockle Bay School or another designated location agreed by Nick Want.
Sign Out the TIGER Mulcher/Chipper: Borrower signs the Sign-Out Form and agrees to use the TIGER Mulcher/Chipper safely and according to the agreed-upon terms and conditions.
Record The Green Waste: Borrower records the number of trailer loads of tree/garden waste repurposed by turning it into mulch using the TIGER Mulcher/Chipper. Please complete this Sign-Out Form (PDF, 148k) and hand it to the key enviro-teacher in charge of this waste minimisation by 40% project.
Return the TIGER Mulcher/Chipper: Return the TIGER Mulcher/Chipper to Nick Want at Cockle Bay School on the agreed-upon date.
Inspect TIGER Mulcher/Chipper: Nick Want should inspect the TIGER Mulcher/Chipper upon its return to ensure that it’s in the same condition as when it was borrowed.
Sign the Return Form: Document the return of the TIGER Mulcher/Chipper, including any issues that arose during the borrowing period, and any notes on the condition of the TIGER Mulcher/Chipper. The Return Form shall be signed by both the borrower and Nick Want.
Provide Feedback: Provide feedback to us on the borrowing experience, including any suggestions for improvement or issues that arose.
