COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT WORKSHOP

As the old Chinese saying goes, “Each land nurtures its own inhabitants.” We have chosen to live on the land of New Zealand and make it our long-term home, it is our responsibility to understand and protect this beautiful land.

In 2021, we initiated a wonderful program, offering free monthly lectures on conservation and identifying invasive species in your garden. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, our online sessions have greatly benefited everyone, giving us more time to reflect on our relationship with nature and to participate in ecological restoration actively.

Looking ahead, we are excited to announce that our lectures will now welcome participants from all ethnic backgrounds. As we delve into topics such as identifying uncommon invasive plants and recognising invasive species in your garden, we hope to inspire a diverse audience to join us in our efforts to protect and preserve our environment.

Let’s embrace this opportunity to learn, grow, and make a positive impact on our home together.
